At the New Year’s Festival in Dublin offers families the opportunity to celebrate the end of another fantastic year and see in 2018 with a bang!
Liffey Lights Midnight Moment Matinee – 6.30 to 7 pm
Families and friends of all ages can celebrate the New Year together at this new and exciting early countdown event. Watch in amazement as colourful aerial and aquatic acrobats take to the streets, the sky and the River Liffey. Enjoy jaw-dropping performances from Heliosphere’s high flying acrobats and Flyboarders as they perform amazing stunts.
This is a free event but tickets will need to be booked in advance. Suitable for families.
3 Countdown Concert – 8 pm
Prepare yourself for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve and ring in 2018 with Dublin’s very own, award winning quartet, headliners Kodaline live from Custom House Quay for the 3Countdown Concert! Following on from a hugely successful 2017 which included a set at Glastonbury Festival this band and their stunning music will ensure that this gig is a musical highlight of the year!
Supported by special guests the multi-talented siblings, Hudson Taylor, along with the 4 piece Dublin based rock band Keywest who are widely known for their explosive live performances!
This year’s 3 Countdown Concert will truly be one to remember! Tickets are €45.05 including all fees and you can book tickets online. The concert is suitable for 18 years and over.
Liffey Lights Midnight Moment – 11.30 pm
Watch Liffey Lights Midnight Moment in amazement as the breathtaking, high-flying spectacle of lights and acrobatics takes to the Dublin Sky on New Year’s Eve. This world-class spectacle will be performed against the backdrop of the iconic Custom House with the River Liffey taking centre stage for a dazzling lighting, aerial and aquatic display.
Prepare to be thrilled by the spectacular symphony of lights as up to 100 aquabeams dance across the night sky, performing in time with original music. Watch in awe as Heliosphere’s high flying acrobats spin and spiral through the sky while attached to giant balloons and as FLYBOARDERS perform incredible aquatic and aerial stunts across the River Liffey. This performance is not to be missed.
